Year 6 WOW - Life of a Victorian

This week children of year 6 became immersed into the life of a Victorian. They were transported back to a Victorian school and worked incredibly hard using the ink pens and pots to make notes, learning about how harsh school life was and understand the currency of the era. They were completely immersed and wore some fantastic outfits. In the afternoon, the children had the opportunity to explore genuine Victorian artefacts including irons, games and ice skates. They explored the suitcases of a range of different people from different social classes and had the opportunity to make spinning tops as well as other Victorian amusements.

A brilliant day full of Victorian excitement for all.
