Year 6 Leavers' Ball

Year 6 pupils had a truly wonderful time this evening as they attended their breath-taking Leavers' Ball. Organised for them by our dedicated staff team, the hall was transformed into a sparkling, stunning spectacle with a glitzy Hollywood theme. The children played their part by putting amazing effort into their outfits, looking fantastic and by getting into the spirit of things by having a whale of a time! 

Upon arrival (many pupils being chauffeured in staff cars!), the children met and mingled with their friends and staff, before heading through the traditional staff archway into the hall. There were certainly many 'ooh's and 'aahs' as they entered and found their seats. Not long after, they were waited on hand and foot by staff members who served the children a mouth-watering three course meal. 

After their meal and drinks, the year group were taken outside for a special group photo, before coming back into the hall to find it transformed once more, this time into a disco arena! The next hour or so was taken up with some real funky dance moves being shown by children and staff members alike. 

At the end of the evening, the emotional song from the Leavers' Assembly was played, with everyone joining in and singing along and parents coming in to see their children's final event whilst at Chantry.

The whole evening was an amazing experience and one that will stay long in the pupils' memories.
