Members of the Chantry Pastoral Team

Please meet our wonderful Pastoral Team who are here to support you, your child and your family.  You may have met our team at one time or another, either at school events or on a one to one basis or greeting you on the gate. We are here to work closely with children and families to develop strong positive links to support our families at Chantry.

We can assist and support our families in a variety of ways. Should you have anything you would like to discuss, whether it be a child’s anxiety around attending school, toilet training your child, personal circumstances changing, or you feel your child would benefit from additional mentoring support, our Pastoral team can support you by directing you to the most appropriate service.

Our Phoenix Room is located within the main school building next to the School Office at the front of the school. If you would like to speak with one of us, either contact the main school office by phone 706500 (option 2) or in person. Our door is always open and we will be happy to help you.

Mission Statement

The Pastoral team at Chantry Primary Academy aim to support your child and family to the best of our ability. We work together in partnership with you to nurture the bridge between school and home life and help support you in times of need.

We are committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of our children and families. We have a duty of care to our children and a strong safeguarding culture. If any staff have significant concerns regarding the safety of the children in their care they are trained to report accordingly following the following procedures.

Helpful Information

We can direct you to various agencies who can support in a parenting capacity and offer appropriate guidance. We can refer you to these agencies with your consent to enable you to have the best support for your child and family circumstance. They are here to work in partnership with you and we as a school can help facilitate the gap.

We understand that parenting can be challenging at times but with the appropriate support we can work together to have the best outcome for your child.
