Year 5/6 Rounders Tournament

Chantry Primary Academy recent took part in a Luton town schools Rounders competition with our Year 5/6 team. Having trained hard for the few weeks leading up to the competition we went in with confidence that we could achieve.

Over twenty schools entered which were split in to pools for the start of the tournament. Having fielded extremely well we finished a very respectable second in our group and progressed to the quarter-finals. From there we played Icknield Primary school in the quarter finals where we were unfortunately knocked out by one rounder.

The children played very well and should be very proud of what we achieved in the tournament.
