Luton Zone Athletics Finals

After competing in the West Area Zone Athletics competition, fifteen of our Chantry team members were invited to the Luton Zone Athletics Finals.  These children were placed in the top four competitors in their individual athletics events.  Twenty Seven schools participated in these Finals with each athlete competing in their best athletics events from sprinting, long distance running, howler throw, cricket ball throw, shot putt, standing long jump, triple jump and relays.  A place in the finals is a great privilege and we were delighted and proud to attend again this year with our talented young athletes.  All our team stepped up to the challenge of competing against Luton’s best on a very hot afternoon at the Stockwood Park Athletics Stadium.  Well done to everyone and congratulations to those that were awarded medals for first, second or third position.  A great reflection of dedication and positive attitudes to overcome challenging situations!
