Hats of Faith

Year 2 had a wonderful visit from Emily today  (from the Children's Reading Company) who led a story-telling workshop, looking at the super book 'Hats of Faith'. The book introduced children to the different head coverings that different faiths/cultures wear, why they wear them and why it's important to show the value of acceptance. We also had the chance to see 'Penny' the bus, which tours up and down the country. delivering food packages, medical supplies and healthcare to those most at need. An amazing experience all round!
