Go-kart racing!

Our 'Mighty Hatter' goblin go-kart made a short journey to Luton Sixth Form College today when it took part in the Bedfordshire Goblin race meeting. We joined 14 other local schools who all brought along their school built go-karts to take part in a selection of races against one another. There was the drag race, the slalom sprint and the track event, where all our team took part and gave it their all to try and come in first place in each race. The team members did a fantastic job and took part sensibly, responsibly and with a lot of determination to do well, spurring each other on at every opportunity. 

Eventually, we narrowly missed coming in 3rd place by a whisker but everyone had a wonderful time in the sunshine!
