Forest Schools Club
Friday 7th December 2018
Friday afternoon saw Chantry’s Forest School Club undergo a huge challenge. 105 Trees had been delivered and needed planted at the lower end of the field, where in years to come we plan to have our very own woodland area for the students to learn and explore the outdoors. Excited and ready to go we grabbed our shovels and started to plant the wide variety of trees which include Oak, Hazel and Silver Birch.
In just over an hour and half all 105 trees had been planted and secured with bamboo canes and tree guards.
A massive well done to the Forest School children for their fantastic effort and determination in completing this challenge and we look forward to watching the trees grow in the coming years.
