Dukeminster Xmas 2019

We always love visiting our friends at Dukeminster Retirement Home in Dunstable. This Christmas the children have visited twice, to make cards and to sing carols. The residents and the children enjoyed spending time together getting creative making fantastic Christmas cards full of seasonal joy. The children then listened to a story told by David, Dukeminster’s resident story teller! David loves reading to the children and they are always excited to see him.

The choir also paid a visit to the residents and they sung beautifully. Everyone enjoyed the range of traditional carols and modern Christmas songs and many of the residents joined in with the singing. Afterwards the children loved chatting to the audience all about Christmas’ past and present. One child even discovered that if you are on Santa’s naughty list the only gift you receive is a lump of coal!

We are looking forward to spending more time with our friends from Dukeminster in the new year.
