Year 5 - Author Visit

A group of Year 5 pupils had an amazing experience today when they were visited by author Nick Cook! Nick has written a trilogy of books that all centre around a group of storm chases in America and the adventures they go on. Our children were joined by pupils from other local schools to take part in a writing workshop that also included filming a news report and interacting with a real-life tornado machine...wow. And as an added bonus, Nick signed a copy of his first book, Storm Riders for our pupils- thanks Nick!
